Celebration of Life Memorial Services for Ellen Marie Panthen, 50, of Champaign, will be at noon, Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at McKinley Memorial Presbyterian Church, 809 S. Fifth Street, Champaign. The Rev. Heidi Weatherford will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday.

Heath and Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm, Champaign, is assisting the family.

Ms. Panthen died at 6:50 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2008, at home. She was born January 31, 1958, in Albany, New York, a daughter of Arthur G. and Delores Hanley Panthen.

She was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Greenbriar Nursing Home, Champaign. She was a member of McKinley Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Panthen is survived by two sons, David P. Norris and Lucas C. Paschall, both of Champaign; one brother, David A. (Kandi) Panthen, of Simi Valley, Calif.; and two sisters, Ann F. Panthen (Mary Ellen), of Mahomet; and Linda J. Panthen, of West Sand Lake, New York.
