Class of 1946:
We were saddened to read of Jean’s death in today’s Bloomington Pantagraph and want to extend our condolences. Jean’s friendly calmness was as natural as her beauty.
Dear Craig, Gary and Linda:
This is Daniel Schuetz, and my mom just sent your mother’s notice.
I am so sorry. We love you and pray for you. Lord willing, Jen and I will be staying at my folks’ home in July and we will be able to attend the service.
Godspeed to you. We love your mom and you.
Sincerely,
Daniel and Jen
Craig, Gary, and Linda,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you with the loss of your mother. Jean was our neighbor for 18 years. We have so many fond memories and so do our 3 children. Steve and I drove by the old neighborhood this past Saturday evening and saw a light in Jean’s window. I said I wonder if she would be alarmed if we rang her doorbell for ‘old times?’ We drove on past and were very surprised to read the Sunday paper with the news of her passing. Obviously we did not know she was ill, but will look forward to seeing all of you at her memorial service next month. She spoke so affectionately of all of you and her grandchildren, so I have always felt like I knew you more than the few times we met at block parties or when you were visiting. Jean was a Grandmother and a ‘Mother’ to all of us in the neighborhood.
Our love,
Steve and Bev Virgil
Tim, Stephanie, and Tiffany
Craig, Gary & Linda,
I was shocked to learn your mother passed on. May your memories be a window that brightens this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I look forward to seeing all of you at the memorial service. Big hugs to all of you!
Karen McDermott-Wisdom
Linda and family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom.
Karen McDermott-Wisdom just e-mailed and alerted those of us who aren’t too regular on reading the obituaries about this. I’ve made note of the memorial service on my calendar and am hoping will get to see you then. Let me know of any additional time you might have in town and we can get a group of your classmates together.
Again, my heart goes out to your and yours, and you all are in my prayers.
Sally (Tone)
