Kerry Armstrong
Kerry Armstrong, 53, formerly of Mahomet, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Christus Sister Mary Hospice Center in San Antonio, Tex.
 He was born October 31, 1958, in Champaign, son of Diane Roop Armstrong and Harold Roger Armstrong. He attended school in Mahomet.
He is survived by his mother of Champaign; two brothers, Kenneth of Urbana, Ill., and Mike (Kellie) of Pawnee, Ill.; one sister, Kristen (Benji) Stemple of Valparaiso, Ind., and three nephews and one niece.
He also left his beloved dog, Chance.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be graveside services at Hopewell Cemetery in Downs, Ill. at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Memorials may be made to the family or a charity of the donor’s choice.
All family and friends are invited to the main pavilion at Lake of the Woods, Mahomet, after the services, for lunch.

My heart goes out to you all. Kerry and I remained close thru all these years. He always wanted to know how the boys were doing. We had some great times together in the C-U. We always got together when he was home and I will always value his friendship. I will remember his smiling face all the good times we had. I am sorry for your loss. I will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society in his name. I am sorry I could not make it today as I had prior commitments.
