Condolences

Bill Bland and family:

Was so sorry to see that your Mom had passed. I know she will be missed by many.

Sincerley, Billy Baker (Bill & Shirley Baker's son)

So many great memories of your mother as our babysitter. Such a gentle soul. Not many would have hung in there as she did with 4 active boys with fresh mouths keeping her flustered. (15+ years??) Thank you “Mrs. B”!!! We will always have a place in our hearts for you.

PS “Excuse hands please”

Steve Harrington and Family

Mrs. B as she was known in our household provided our family many blessings in her life. My 3 brothers and I could be a handful growing up and Mrs. B used her kindness and gentle approach to offset the rambunctious brother’s occasional misbehavior. She shared our passion and enthusiasm for the Illini and spent countless hours babysitting us to help give Mom and Dad precious free time.

Mrs. B will always be a part of our family’s fond memories of the children growing up.

We wish the family our sincere condolence at this time but offer the message that Mrs. B made our time together memorable for all the right reasons.

Tim Harrington

Irene was a wonderful friend to our family. We entrusted our children to her and she handled them beautifully, four active and sometimes ornery young boys! A great lady who will be missed.
