Lloyd W. Burnett
Lloyd W. Burnett, 78, passed away at 9:40 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2011, at his home in Champaign.
 Heath and Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm, Champaign, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Burnett was born June 29, 1932, in Champaign, a son of Thomas and Lola (Fluke) Burnett.
He is survived by two sons, David (Connie) Burnett, Champaign, and Kerry (Jill) Burnett, Mahomet; two daughters, Pam (Jon) Olsen, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Janet Rayburn, Foosland; a brother, Robert (Charlotte) Burnett, Urbana; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Darlene Schaffer, and a brother, Thomas Burnett.
Before his retirement, Mr. Burnett was employed as an electrician. He was a member of Local 601 Electrical Union.
He attended Unity Baptist Church, Champaign.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
