Graveside Celebration of Life services for Robert Floyd Phelps, 63, of Champaign, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Mr. Phelps passed away at 11:40 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Helia Healthcare, Champaign. He was born January 26, 1949, in Urbana, the son of Floyd and Ruth Margaret (Moyer) Phelps.

He was a graduate of Urbana High School in 1967. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1974. He was employed by Humko, retiring in 1983.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Phelps enjoyed watching television, especially religious programs.

He is survived by a sister, Margaret Ann Allen and her husband, Ronald, who moved from Florida to Champaign in 1994 to assist in the care of Floyd and Bob Phelps.
