Cathy Franklin, 62, of Rantoul died at home on April 22, 2026.
She was born in Champaign on September 17, 1963 to William and Lillie Lookingbill. She graduated from Champaign Central High School and still has friends from those days.
Cathy worked at several factories in the C-U and Rantoul areas. She was good at everything she did. She was also a great cook. If you ever came over, she would try to feed you.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Candie.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ron; 4 sons: Ron Jr, Doug, Chris and Willie; 3 brothers: Bill, Jeff and Christian; 2 sisters: Christy and Cindy; 7 grandchildren: Jaden, Keagan, Gavin, Jade, Delaney, Willow and Lillie.
She left much too soon and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Thursday April 30 at Faith Crusaders Church, 2111 N Willow Road, Urbana with visitation at 10 am, service at 11am followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
