Mrs. Elizabeth Page, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Willow Park, Texas.
She was a longtime resident of Champaign. In fact, she was born, raised and lived in the same house for 93 years in Champaign before joining her son in Fort Worth, Texas, in late 2019. Mrs Page was an avid traveller across North America with her husband, Pat. In their travels, they visited every state in the union, all the provinces of Canada and made trips to Mexico. She was an active member of the American Lutheran Church in Rantoul. There, she was a member of the church’s quilting group that made hundreds of quilts, which were distributed to organizations for the needy around the world.
Mrs. Page is survived by her son, Bob, and his wife, Gail, daughter Patti and grandson Austin.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 6, at the American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Rantoul, with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. Following the service, interment will be next to her husband, Pat, in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.
In place of flowers, donations to the American Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
