Genevieve Callinan Partin, 98, died on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at Accolade Healthcare in Savoy.
Genevieve was born on May 20, 1925, in Oak Park, and was a 1943 graduate of Wheaton High School and a 1948 graduate of Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
She married Alfred M. Partin (Cornell, Class of 1950) on May 13, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2018.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia E. Partin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Richard L. Partin of Champaign; and a grandson, Trevor A.L. Partin of Champaign.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and Genevieve will be buried next to her husband in Danville National Cemetery at a later date.
