Nancy Jo Carter, 88, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025.
She was born on April 15, 1937 and lived a life filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Carter; her son, Forrest Carter; her mother, Rose Ella Scaggs; and her father, Homer Caldwell. Nancy is now reunited with those she loved most, finding peace in their eternal embrace. Her legacy of love, kindness, and grace will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
