Norbert L. (Arch) Archbold of Savoy, formerly of Macomb, passed suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, with family by his side.
Arch was born to Ralph and Arlene (Van Anda) Archbold on April 7, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Gretchen (Shadburn) Archbold of Savoy; daughter Dorlene (OJ) Clark of Champaign; sister JoAnn (Carl) Deiner of Surprise, Ariz.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ross (Jana) Archbold, and brother Richard Archbold.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
